The exam was held in three batches. The exam duration was 2:30 hours.

1. 2 hours for the objective paper.
2. 30 minute time allotted to descriptive paper.

How was BOB 2016 descriptive paper?

BOB PO 2016 descriptive paper was moderate level. Following questions were asked in first batch. (Based on Memory)

1. Letter to police commissioner for cybercrime control and launch a campaign for awareness about cyber crime and suggestions for safer online transaction.


Write a letter to editor of news paper.

Word limit:150 words.

2. Essay on Privacy of Politicians and film stars or they must be accountable.


Essay on Paid Journalism.

How was bank of baroda 2016 Objective paper?

Paper had four sections:

  • Quantitative Aptitude
  • Reasoning
  • English
  • General awareness

1. BOB Quantitative Aptitude 2016 Paper Analysis:

Quantitative aptitude in BOB 2016 PO exam had questions from diverse topics. It had covered data interpretation(Pie chart, linear chart), Simplification, Series problem, Partnership, Time and work, Interest, percentage problem.

Most unexpected was repetition of series questions, There were more than 4 questions from number series.

Data interpretation was a pleasant part for candidates as questions were easy and if someone would have attempted data interpretation at first with an accuracy of 85% then scoring 10-17 marks would be easier for him/her in QT section.

2. BOB 2016 Reasoning Paper Analysis:

Reasoning section had problem from inequality, statement and conclusion, syllogism, blood relation, data sufficiency, coding decoding, input output questions.

Syllogism was covering a major part of questions. Inequality based questions were quite easy. Overall reasoning section was moderate and most of the candidates attempted 30-35 questions in this section.

3. BOB 2016 General Awareness Paper Analysis:

Most of the General awareness questions being asked were from July-August 2016. Chairperson of important committees, important appointment at government organisations, Banking terms, SLR rate, MoU, recent business news was highlight of the paper.

4. BOB 2016 English Paper Analysis:

Bank of Baroda English section was easier compared to other sections of the paper. It had basic questions from reading comprehensions, fill in the blank, spot the error. Any candidate with good English can score well in this section.
